The Scantronic XCELPLUS Extended Life model is a high capacity battery backup for your 760ES wireless siren bell box. The Extended Life model is recommended for anyone that requires greater backup from their siren over the original and looking for battery of up to 4 years.

The Scantronic XCELPLUS Standard model is also suitable for the 760ES alarm, but may only offer 3-4 hours backup in the event of a power cut, and require replacing within 2-3 years.

The XCELPLUS Extended Life uses the highest capacity battery available on the market and unlike budget consumer batteries, it's produced using the highest quality industrial, alkaline batteries. There's a general rule of thumb with cells; the heavier the battery pack, the higher the capacity. And our Extended Life battery packs certainly demonstrate that.

XCELPLUS are the only producer of Scantronic batteries to include a PTC resettable fuse, used to protect against over-discharge faults or reverse polarity insertion. All batteries can leak acid when they're depleted for long periods if gone un-checked. PTC resettable fuses prevent further damage to the siren from short-circuit faults caused by battery acid.
